What is a complete registration?
A complete registration is one where you have completed all steps in the registration process including payment of full amount due through the registration portal and have completed and turned in all required forms at the player evaluations. The required forms are: 1) Parental Permission form, 2) Policies for Participation in CYO Sports (COVID) form, 3) Concussion Information Sheet and 4) Code of Conduct / Social Media Policy. When do practices start?
Practices will start by mid-October.
How many practices are there? and when are the games played?
Each team will have a minimum of one practice a week. Coaches determine the date and times for practices. Additional weekly practices are typical with usually 1 – 2 more additional practices a week with these practices determined by the coach. Games are usually played on Sundays. Games on Saturdays are also a possibility.
What is the level of commitment?
Basketball is a team game. In fairness to all members of the team, your child’s full participation in all practices and games is requested. If a player is sick or injured, he or she is expected to refrain from practices and games (and in the case of illness, team activities).
